Dear Secondary School Families,

At school, we often speak with students about rights and responsibilities. Every student has the right to learn, to feel safe, and to be heard. But those rights only work when others take responsibility for protecting them.
One of the simplest - and most powerful - ways students can show respect for the rights of others is by being on time.
When a student arrives late to class, even by a few minutes, it interrupts learning. The teacher must pause. Classmates are distracted. The rhythm of the lesson is broken. Over time, those small interruptions add up. Being on time is not about compliance; it is about protecting the learning environment for everyone and respecting the rights of their classmates and teachers to learn together.
Every day, I see examples of respectful students caring deeply about their peers and teachers. I know our students want to be respectful. Thinking about being on time as an act of respect - rather than simply a rule - helps students see that their choices affect others. Arriving on time protects the rights of others to learn.
We appreciate your partnership in reinforcing this message at home. Helping students plan ahead, leave early, and value being on time is not just about building good habits for the future - it is about nurturing our compassionate community today, in which everyone takes responsibility for the rights of others.

We are very proud of our Seniors, and we are 100% behind them as they go into their second week of Mock Exams.
Our Seniors continue to be offered places at some very prestigious institutions. We are excited to celebrate these achievements with our community, so look out for more information from our communications team in the coming weeks.
