Mr. Ronnie Caldwell
Dear Parents,
📚 MAP Testing Update
As we continue with MAP testing this week, I hope you’re asking your children how it’s going and seeing them give it their best effort. The MAP test is simply a marker indicating how much students have grown since last year and where they can grow next. We use this data to see where we can support students and help them reach their personal academic goals. To get the best data, it’s important that they just do their best, so we appreciate you encouraging a growth mindset at home as we work to better serve your children.
📔 Practicing Gratitude with 6th Grade
I had the privilege of joining the sixth-grade class for a lesson with our middle school counselor on gratitude. We discussed how easy it is to forget how fortunate we are and lose sight of what truly matters. By practicing gratitude, we become happier and treat others better. When I asked the class, "What is something you would miss if it were suddenly gone?" the ideas really started flowing! Please continue to encourage gratitude at home—just as I am grateful to be working with your children every day.
🤾♀️ Sports & After-School Activities
We had some fantastic athletic events this week with basketball and volleyball underway. I loved stopping by after school to watch some games. We always encourage our students to stay active and engaged!

👏 Student Council & Leadership
This week we also held our middle school student council speeches and elections. It was inspiring to see so many students put themselves out there. While not everyone can win an election, we reminded all candidates that you don't need an official title to be a leader. We hope you will join us in encouraging them to lead through service learning and daily initiative, embodying the Chinthe Way.
Thank you so much for your support. Have a wonderful weekend!
Be Good,
Mr. C
