I hope you have had a wonderful week! As we prepare for the week ahead, here are a few important updates and highlights regarding campus events and student learning.

Our students will continue MAP testing this week. Thank you for supporting your children at home with good rest and routine during this testing window. Our tech and academic teams are working closely behind the scenes to ensure everything continues to run smoothly.
MISCA University Fair (Monday, Sept 14)Ā
This Monday, we are excited to host the MISCA University Fair, a fantastic opportunity for our students to explore future academic pathways. To accommodate the event schedule, Monday will run as a regular Day 1 schedule without adjusting class rotations. We appreciate your support in helping students arrive on time and ready for a great event.

It has been a joy visiting classrooms across campus and seeing our students fully engaged in their learning. I particularly enjoyed dropping into several middle school classes recently, and I look forward to spending more time in classrooms across all grade levels in the coming week.

Attendance & Punctuality FocusĀ
This week, I have been meeting with middle and high school students to discuss ISY's attendance policies. We know that consistent attendance and punctuality are deeply tied to academic success. Through these conversations, it became clear that some students were unaware of our specific policies and how unexcused or excessive absences can put course credit and grades in jeopardy.
Iām working directly with students to ensure they are informed, mindful, and empowered to make being on time and regularly present a priority.
