We are excited to kick off our Elementary School Basketball season starting November 5th, and weād love to have your child join the fun!

Who Can Join: All elementary school students G3-G5, whether theyāre new to the game or already love basketball.

Why Join: This is a fantastic opportunity for students to build athletic skills, practice teamwork, and enjoy friendly competition in a fun, supportive environment.

Practice Schedule: Practices will be held every Wednesday, from 3:20 PM to 4:05 PM, and the season will run through February.

Games: Players will participate in both home and away games held at YAC schools.

| š MS YAC Basketball Tournament - Girls |
The ISY Girls Middle School Basketball team wrapped up their season in spectacular fashion at the YAC Tournament, winning 3 games and narrowly losing 1. Over the past 6-7 weeks, the team transformed from novices into strong, proficient players, showcasing remarkable development in their skills, teamwork, and court presence.
The tournament was full of competitive matchups, including a close game against Network, the tournament champions, where the girls pushed hard and nearly came out on top. In the other games, their teamwork and communication truly shone as they worked together to secure consistent wins. Their improvement in ball handling, shooting, and overall game strategy was evident in every match.

MVP Thwin led the team with strength and skill throughout the tournament.

Aiās standout performance against ILBC was nothing short of impressive, as she scored 11 of the teamās 16 points.

Tiffanyās aggressive defense made a huge impact, disrupting opponentsā plays and keeping the ISY momentum strong.

Anaās enthusiasm and energy added an irreplaceable spark to the team dynamic.
Though each game was challenging, the ISY MS Girls Basketball team played with determination, spirit, and composure. Congratulations to the team on a season full of growth and success! Keep building on these skills, and we look forward to seeing you on the court next season!

The ISY Boys Middle School Basketball team showcased resilience and growth at the YAC Tournament, competing in four challenging games. Although the team didnāt secure any wins, two of the matchups were incredibly closeāboth against YIS and ILBC, with ISY falling short by just one point.
Throughout the tournament, the boys worked hard to raise their level of play, especially in games against ISM and Network. They improved their defensive strategies, moved the ball skillfully on offense, and created open shot opportunities. By the final two games, their rebounding efforts, ball control, and scoring improved noticeably.

George demonstrated progress by learning to dribble with his eyes up and improved his passing skills.

Leo impressed with solid shooting, scoring a couple of three-pointers.

Bram stood out with his driving plays and strong rebounding.

Joon added value to the team with strong defense, rebounding, and smart shot attempts.

Adrian played with consistency, taking good shots and contributing solid defensive efforts.
Though the tournament was tough, the boys showed steady improvement in teamwork, communication, and essential basketball skills. They should be proud of their perseverance and determination to grow as players and as a team. Great effort, ISY boysāwe look forward to seeing what you accomplish going forward!

Final Score: ISY 3 - ISM 2
The ISY high school girls volleyball team played a highly competitive friendly match against ISM, securing a 3-2 victory. The match highlighted the team's strength, exceptional communication, and mutual support, emphasizing their cohesive teamwork on the court.
Angel and Lae Lae were standout players for ISY, delivering key performances. They consistently played safe and executed point-killing moves against the opponents, contributing significantly to the team's success.
This victory not only reflects the players' skills but also their ability to work together effectively, making it a valuable game as they continue their development.

The ISY Girls Volleyball team had an outstanding performance in the YCI Tournament, showcasing incredible skill, teamwork, and determination throughout. With confident wins on Friday and Saturday, including decisive victories against ILBC, NET, CIC, and ISM, the team demonstrated their strength and growth. Players like Tuesday, Yoon Yoon, Christine, and Angel delivered standout performances in serving and scoring vital points for the team.
In the final championship match against YIS, ISY fought hard but fell short, finishing as runners-up in the tournament. Despite the loss, the team played with resilience and left it all on the court. Congratulations to ISY on taking second place in the YCI Tournament and for their exceptional efforts throughout the competition!

In a closely contested match, ISY managed to pull off an exciting 3-2 victory against ISM. Despite some mistakes and moments of hesitation during tight scores, the team showed resilience and determination to secure the win.
Tiger and Sai Swan stood out with powerful hits, showcasing their offensive prowess. Meanwhile, Sau played a crucial role in the first set, delivering consistent serves that kept the team in the game.
Though thereās room for improvement in confidence during high-pressure moments, the players displayed great teamwork and grit. Well done, ISY!

The ISY Boys Volleyball team displayed remarkable talent and determination in the YCI Tournament, delivering a stellar performance to claim first place!
With dominating victories against ISM and NET (both 2-0), the team showcased their skill, teamwork, and unwavering spirit. Sai Swan was the standout player, making crucial contributions with exceptional blocks, powerful spikes, and smart tips that consistently kept ISY ahead during critical moments.
Congratulations to the ISY Boys Volleyball team for their incredible performance and for securing the championship title! Keep up the great work!

Final Score: ISY 2 - ISM 1
In a thrilling friendly match, the ISY team showcased skill and determination, dominating play for much of the game. ISY seized the lead late in the first half, only to see ISM equalize midway through the second. However, the deciding moment came from a brilliant display of footballāMinwoo delivered a stunning left-footed strike that secured the lead and ultimately the victory for ISY.
Special recognition goes to Sammy, the goalkeeper, who played exceptionally well, making key saves and anchoring the team's defense. It was an exciting and well-fought match that highlighted the team's hard work and talent. Congratulations on the win, ISY!

Final Score: ISY 1 - ISM 5
ISY faced ISM in a friendly match at ISM, resulting in a 1-5 scoreline. The game was played across two halves, offering valuable opportunities for development and experimentation.
In the first half, ISY began with a strong lineup and implemented the new 1-3-1 formation effectively. The team showed great organization, improved passing, and strong attacking play, ending the half trailing 1-2.
During the second half, rotations in the squad saw players stepping into unfamiliar positions, with key defenders and strikers absent. The formation shifted to 2-3, which slightly loosened the team's structure and allowed ISM to capitalize inside the penalty area.
Despite the scoreline, this match was instrumental in testing new strategies, developing rhythm, and providing more match experience in preparation for SEASAC. Jessica particularly stood out with her impressive performance in the midfield role. Her ability to scan the field before receiving the ball, effectively transition between defense and attack, and create opportunities for forwards demonstrated her growth. Additionally, she stepped into the goalkeeper role and performed admirably, showcasing adaptability and great team spirit.
