| 🎪 Chinthe Carnival |
I thoroughly enjoyed Saturday’s Chinthe Carnival. Despite the rainy skies, a lot of fun was had by all. All of the proceeds from the event will be donated to our Chinthe Fund partners.
As always, I was very pleased with the leadership and enthusiasm of our older students who made this event happen. When we give our students opportunities to lead and serve in meaningful ways they always make the most of them. Thank you to our tireless faculty service learning supervisors for their support of our students, and to Mr. Nick Sturmey, our Service Learning Coordinator, who supports us all. 
I am now looking forward to our next major event - International Day!

Wednesday’s Parent Teacher Conferences were very well attended. Thank you to those of you who were able to make it. If you were not able to attend, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s teachers, who will be happy to meet at a time that works for you at any time throughout the year. You can also email the Secondary School Office, which will be able to make any appointment on your behalf. We truly value our partnership with you as we strive to do all we can to ensure that your child thrives here at ISY.

Good luck to our High School Volleyball and Football teams, who are competing at their respective SEASAC tournaments this weekend. 
Next week, our golf and cross-country teams will travel to their SEASAC tournaments.
