A Fantastic Day of Fun!
By Pyone Pann and Cindy Thinzar (Grade 10)
On Saturday, February 21st, ISY didn’t just simply host an event; it created a special memory for all of us. You could feel the excitement, fun, and joy in the air. With students, families, friends, staff and teachers all united as one, going on rides, doing activities, the campus felt different. Full of life! It was a day when everyone seemed a little more cheerful than usual, happy to be a part of something special.

There were plenty of activities to choose from. The Ferris wheel very quickly became the most popular ride - from the beginning of the event to the end, there was never a shortage of people waiting in line for a turn. Just around the corner, the dunk tank was drawing as much attention. Every time a person hit the target and a teacher was splashed with water, people erupted in laughter. Younger students enjoyed the bouncy castle and the carousel. To wrap up the event, there were some great student performances at the talent show.
But what made this day all the more meaningful was knowing that all of it was for a good cause. Every entrance ticket and every game played contributed to a bigger cause. It was extra special to celebrate our Chinthe Fund partnership with the children from CLC and Kalitaw and some puppies from Yangon Animal Shelter. People weren’t just buying tickets; they were supporting meaningful community projects. It gave the whole event a deeper sense of importance.

As the event came to an end and the Ferris wheel lights started to glow, the fair slowly started to wind down. People left tired, but filled with happiness and a day to remember.
