| ⚽ High School Girls Football: ISY 3 vs. Network 3 |
The HS Girls Football team displayed incredible resilience this week in a thrilling away fixture against Network. The match began with ISY finding their rhythm under early pressure, eventually breaking the deadlock in the first half when captain Victoria struck a magnificent direct free kick into the back of the net.
The second half tested the Chinthes' mental strength as the opposition intensified their attack. After an unfortunate own goal and two quick set-piece strikes, ISY found themselves facing a 3–1 deficit. Refusing to back down, the team showed immense character and tactical discipline. The momentum shifted back to ISY as Jessica and Tuesday both stepped up in the clutch, scoring two well-executed goals from open play to claw back and secure a hard-fought draw.
Individual performances were key to the comeback; Victoria led by example with her distribution, while Penny excelled in a creative role to link the midfield and attack. It was a proud display of competitive spirit that highlights the bright future of this squad.

The second half presented a new challenge as a determined Network side found their rhythm, putting the ISY backline under increased pressure. However, the Chinthes quickly regained control, utilizing clinical finishing to extend their lead to 3-0 and effectively put the game out of reach. While Network managed a late consolation goal, the result was never in doubt.
The defense was truly outstanding throughout the match, anchored by Pyae Pyae and YMH, whose disciplined performances earned them well-deserved plaudits. Congratulations to the entire team on a fantastic display of the Chinthe spirit!
