✊ Celebrating Our Global Citizens: SEASAC Music, Softball, and Badminton Recap
Last week, our community’s spirit extended far beyond our campus as we sent our talented athletes and musicians across the region for SEASAC competitions. We are incredibly proud of our Chinthes who traveled for SEASAC Music, SEASAC Softball, and SEASAC Badminton. These international experiences are vital to our strategic theme of Internationalism, allowing our students to represent ISY while building meaningful connections with peers from international schools across the region.
Through these journeys, our students have demonstrated remarkable Creativity and Collaboration.
⚽ HS Football: Chinthe Grit at the YCI Tournament
The High School Football teams travel out to South Dagon this coming weekend for the YCI Tournament, and will enduring a long but rewarding day of high-level competition. It will be a test of endurance and courage as our athletes faced a demanding schedule under the sun, demonstrating the physical and mental stamina we strive for in our programs.
Good luck Chinthes!

⚽ HS Girls Football: ISY 6 - 3 MISY
The High School Girls Football team delivered a strong offensive game this week in a dominant 6–3 victory over MISY. From the opening whistle, the Chinthes showcased incredible tactical flexibility, shifting from their traditional defensive posture to a high-pressure attacking formation. This strategic adjustment paid dividends immediately; despite conceding an early goal, the squad responded with six unanswered strikes, controlling nearly 70% of the possession throughout the match.
The depth of the roster was on full display as frequent rotations ensured every player on the pitch contributed to the scoring threat. Tuesday was a standout in the striker role, demonstrating exceptional composure to net her first career hat-trick. Angel added to the tally with two spectacular long-range goals from outside the box, while Maya anchored the team’s second-half performance with a reliable shift in goal. This performance highlights the team’s growing confidence and ability to dictate the tempo of play against quality opposition.
