What a joyful week at ISY!

The Holiday Bazaar on Wednesday was such a treat, and it was my pleasure to see so many of you shopping or enjoying the performances.  I loved walking around the bazaar and seeing students taking such pride in the craft/baking that they created to sell, and the independence of our various students as they ran different booths. Students have worked so hard to help make this event a success! 

It is also important to recognize the massive undertaking by Ms. Sheppard, her Advancement Team, and Ms. Yvonne in the office. This was months of careful planning and organization. As we break for the holiday, I reflect on my first five months at ISY and living in Myanmar. It has certainly been a treat to experience this unique community and environment. It has been a pleasure getting to know new people, learning about a new culture, and trying to embark on a new language. I have appreciated the support. I am looking forward to the holidays back in snowy, cold Ottawa, Canada. We get to see our adult children and enjoy time with family and friends.
