Upcoming events (January 2026)

We are excited to announce that ISY will be hosting the International Schools' Chess Tournament 2026!

This is a fantastic opportunity for our students to test their strategies, meet players from other schools, and represent ISY on the chess board. The tournament is open to all students aged 5 to 18.

Event Details:

📅 Date: Saturday, January 24th, 2026
⏰ Time: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
📍 Venue: International School Yangon (ISY)
♟️ Format: Swiss System, Rapid Chess (10min + 5sec per game)
🏆 Rounds: 7 or 8 Rounds (depending on player count)

Registration & Fees:

Cost: 72,000 MMK per player.
Deadline: All sign-ups must be completed by Friday, January 9th, 2026.

How to Sign Up:

Fill out the Form: Once you have your payment screenshot, please complete the Sign Up Form to secure your spot.
Payment made to the ISY Business office.
