It is officially time to lace up your sneakers and hit the field, court, or course! Registration for our Season 1 Sports is now open for all Middle and High School students. Practices officially kick off next week, so be sure to get your sign-ups in as soon as possible.

If you canā€™t start on day one, don't sweat itā€”we have plenty of flexibility, but signing up early ensures our coaches have you on their rosters from the start.

Before heading to your first practice, all athletes must register through our main portal:

What You Need to Know Before Day One
  • Interested in Multiple Sports? Absolutely! You are welcome to participate in more than one sport if your schedule allows. If you run into any practice clashes, come stop by my officeā€”Iā€™ll help you navigate the schedule with your coaches.

  • Finding Your Practice Schedule: Once youā€™ve submitted your sign-up form, open the linked Sports Memo for your specific sport. This is where youā€™ll find exact meeting locations, gear recommendations, and start times for your first practice.

  • When: Wednesdays from 4:30 PM ā€“ 5:30 PM

  • Who: Open to all students and teachers!

  • How to Join: No sign-up required. Just show up ready to play.

Have questions about either event? Stop by my office or send me a message.ISY is excited to invite our student golfers (ES, MS, and HS) to participate in theĀ 2026 International Schools Invitational Golf Tournament on Sunday, September 13th, 2026, at the beautiful Pun Hlaing Golf Course.

This event is designed to bring together student-athletes from across Yangon for a fun, team-focused day on the course.

Tournament Highlights

  • Format: 4-Person Texas Scramble (All players tee off, the team picks the best shot, and everyone plays from there). It's a low-pressure, supportive format focused on teamwork!

  • Divisions: Open to ES, MS, and HS students.

Key Details

  • Date: Sunday, September 13th, 2026

  • Time: Arrival at 11:00 AM | Tee-off at 12:00 PM

  • Location: Pun Hlaing Golf Course

  • Estimated Cost: ~300,000 MMK per student (includes Green Fee, Caddy Fee, Post-Game Meal, and logistics). Note: Pun Hlaing members will be charged their standard membership rate.

Requirements

  1. Course Ready: No official handicap is needed, but participants must be course readyā€”meaning you know basic golf etiquette/safety and can physically walk 18 holes. (This tournament is not for absolute beginners).

  2. Gear: You must bring your own set of golf clubs (rentals are not available).
