ASA and SL Session 1 begins August 24

We are excited to announce that the After School Activities (ASA) and Service Learning (SL) programs for the 2026-2027 school year are finalized and ready for sign-ups. These programs are designed to enrich students' experiences beyond the classroom and offer opportunities for growth, exploration, and community engagement.

📝 Sign-Up Schedule:

  • Monday, 7:00 PM: Sign-ups open for the first two activity choices.

  • Tuesday, 7:00 PM: Sign-ups open for all additional activities.

  • Wednesday, 7:00 PM: Sign-ups close.

Swim season is right around the corner! Whether your student wants to compete or build skills in a fun team environment, we’d love to have them join us.

Important Dates

  • Tryouts: August 17–20

  • Training Begins: August 24

Note: Swimming is a year-long sport! If your student can't make tryouts this week, they are always welcome to join us later in the school year.At ISY, student voice and initiative drive our vibrant community. Whether organizing campus events, leading service learning initiatives, or mentoring peers, our student leaders play a vital role in making a positive impact.

To support and equip our upcoming student leaders, we are excited to host the Student Leadership Workshop on Tuesday, August 18, from 3:45 PM to 5:00 PM.

What Is the Workshop About?

This interactive 75-minute session is designed for students who are currently leading—or aspiring to lead—a student group, club, or project this school year.

During the workshop, students will:

  • Explore Effective Leadership

  • Connect Service to Learning

  • Tackle Real Scenarios

  • Set Goals & Reflect
